I assume you've looked up or know the Just War criteria, but I was looking around and found the list on Wikipedia to be a helpful summary of the Just War positions. Also, if you get a chance, you might pick up Yoder's "When War is Unjust". It's supposed to be really good, and deals with the fact that Just War theory was first developed under a monarchy and if/how Just War theory can/does operate in a Democracy.
